TechTree is recruiting for a founding engineer to own core backend, data, and payments systems for an embodied-AI data company. Remote (EU), based in France.

You will build platforms serving 150K+ users, own anti-fraud and QA, and maintain scalable backend architecture while enabling payouts across 100+ countries. Live production work with top AI labs is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a top engineering school.
• Exceptional individual achievement like elite rankings, hackathons, or scale projects.
• Heavy GitHub activity and open-source contributions.
• Comfortable with Python, FastAPI, Postgres, React, Docker and AWS/S3.
• Bonus: mobile app development experience (iOS or Android).

• Keep backend architecture and ops efficient while scaling toward 1M+ users.

• Ship in live production serving multiple top AI labs against hard deadlines.

This is a role that TechTree is recruiting for on behalf of one of our clients.

Founding Engineer — own core backend, data, and payments systems for an embodied-AI data company. Remote (EU), based in France.

Our client provides real-world training data to frontier AI labs and robotics companies, running multiple 7- to 8-figure contracts in parallel. Their network of 150,000+ contributors captures human data worldwide, with collection, processing, QA, and annotation run fully in-house.

As a founding engineer, you'll own some of the company's most critical systems — from anti-fraud and QA to backend architecture and payouts moving money across 100+ countries.

What You'll Do

• Build and scale platforms across B2C, B2B, mobile, and internal tools serving 150K+ users
• Own anti-fraud and automated QA systems that guarantee data quality
• Keep backend architecture and ops efficient while scaling toward 1M+ users
• Run payout systems moving high volumes of money daily across 100+ countries
• Ship in live production serving multiple top AI labs against hard deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of a top engineering school, 6 months–3 years of experience (more welcome with the right track record)
• Exceptional individual achievement — elite competition rankings, hackathons won, or projects at real scale
• Heavy GitHub activity and active open-source contribution
• Comfortable across Python, FastAPI, Postgres, React, Docker, and AWS/S3
• Bonus: mobile app development experience (iOS or Android)

$80,000–$100,000 base salary plus 0.25%–1% equity. Remote, based in France.
