A tech company based in Paris is looking for a Senior Rails Engineer to lead the Ruby on Rails framework of their B2B SaaS product. You will be responsible for the backend systems, crafting APIs, and ensuring product scalability. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in backend development and a knack for building complex dashboards. Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with deep experience in Ruby on Rails.
• Strong track record with B2B SaaS products, complex dashboards, and workflows.
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance.
• Hands-on API design and operation at scale.
• Authentication and authorization expertise (OAuth, SSO).
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
• Collaborates with frontend teams (React, GraphQL clients).
• Familiarity with event-driven systems and background jobs (Sidekiq, Faktory).
• Exposure to AI-powered features used by automated agents.

We're looking for a Senior Rails Engineer to own and scale the Ruby on Rails layer of our AI-native data platform. You'll be responsible for the core B2B SaaS experience: dashboards, APIs, auth, permissions, and the product surface that both humans and AI agents rely on every day.

Requirements

5+ years of backend engineering experience, with deep experience in Ruby on Rails

Strong track record building B2B SaaS products with complex dashboards and workflows

Deep understanding of PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, performance, data integrity)

Hands‑on experience designing and operating APIs at scale

Solid knowledge of authentication & authorization systems (OAuth, SSO, permissions)

Strong grasp of system design, API boundaries, and long‑term architectural trade‑offs

Product‑minded, autonomous, and comfortable operating with high ownership and ambiguity

Experience with multi‑tenant SaaS architectures

Built or maintained design‑system‑backed dashboards used by technical and non‑technical users

Familiarity with event‑driven systems and background job processing (Sidekiq, Faktory, etc.)

Experience working closely with frontend teams (React, GraphQL clients)

Exposure to AI‑powered features or systems used by automated agents
