We are looking for a Forward-Deployed AI Learning Designer to design the learning experiences behind Coachello's AI Role Play and AI Coaching programs.
This is not a traditional Learning Designer role, and it is not a Customer Success or Project Management role.
You will sit at the intersection of clients, learning design, AI product and delivery.
Your role is to understand what a client is trying to achieve from a business and learning perspective, and translate that into an effective AI-powered learning program.
You will work directly with clients to understand their context, target populations, competency frameworks, real-life situations and expected behaviors.
From there, you will design the pedagogical architecture of the program: what people need to learn, what they should practice, how they should practice it, what good performance looks like, and how progress should be measured.
You will then work closely with our Product, Tech and Project Management teams to turn that architecture into scalable AI Role Play and AI Coaching experiences.
You will challenge briefs when necessary and help clients move from broad requests such as "we want managers to give better feedback" or "we want salespeople to handle objections better" to clear and measurable learning objectives.
The objective is not simply to create realistic scenarios.
It is to design practice experiences that lead to measurable skill and behavior improvement.
Turn the learning architecture into actual experiences inside Coachello.
You will become one of Coachello's internal experts on how AI should behave in a learning environment.
You will be forward-deployed into our most strategic AI programs.
You will run workshops with L&D teams, HR leaders, Sales Enablement teams, business leaders and subject-matter experts to understand their reality and co-design the right solution.
You should be comfortable moving between a conversation about learning science and competency development and a conversation about business performance and operational challenges.
Your role is not simply to execute the client's brief.
It is to bring the learning expertise needed to make the program better.
Learning design doesn't stop when a program launches.
You will observe how learners interact with the experience and use qualitative and quantitative data to improve it.
You will continuously refine the learning experience based on what happens in the field.
You will be one of the closest links between our clients and our Product & Tech teams.
Many client needs will initially require creative solutions using our existing product. Others will reveal capabilities that should become part of the product itself.
You will help distinguish between the two.
You will work with Product and Tech to translate learning needs into:
What we repeatedly build manually for clients today should help define what Coachello's product automates tomorrow.
You probably have 3–8 years of experience across Learning & Development, Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, learning consulting, enablement or a similar field.
More importantly, you combine three things that are rarely found together.
You understand adult learning, practice-based learning, behavioral change and competency development. You know how to turn a business objective into a meaningful learning experience.
You can run a discovery workshop, ask the right questions, challenge a client constructively and turn sometimes messy requirements into a clear program.
You are genuinely comfortable with technology and AI. You experiment with AI tools yourself and are interested in prompts, agents, simulations, evaluation systems and how AI can fundamentally change the way people learn.
You don't need to be an engineer.
But you should enjoy sitting next to engineers and product managers and figuring out how to make the technology deliver the learning experience you designed.
This is not a traditional e-learning content production role.
You will not spend your days building slides or standard training modules.
It is also not a traditional CSM role.
Project Managers and Client Success teams will help manage deployment, timelines and stakeholders.
You own the learning quality of the program.
Your job is to make sure that behind every AI Role Play or AI Coaching experience, there is a clear learning objective, a strong pedagogical rationale and a measurable definition of success.
