Mistral is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to facilitate the adoption of its products among customers and collaborate on complex technical challenges. You will join the customer-facing Applied AI team, working from pre-sales through implementation to deploy cutting-edge AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact.

You will deploy state-of-the-art GenAI applications, collaborate with researchers and engineers on complex projects including fine-tuning, RAG, and open-source components, and

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and able to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• 2+ years as a technical individual contributor on AI-based products.
• Proven experience implementing AI/ML products with APIs, back-end and front-end interfaces.
• Experience in Fine Tuning LLMs and advanced RAG or agentic use cases.
• Deep understanding of ML/LLM concepts and algorithms.
• Strong Python coding skills.

Responsabilités

• Deploy AI solutions into production use cases with measurable business impact across industries.
• Work on GenAI applications from consumer products to industrial use cases with customers.
• Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers, and product engineers on complex projects incl. fine-tuning and open-source components.
• Participate in pre-sales calls to understand client needs and provide technical guidance on products.
• Collaborate with product and science teams to improve models based on customer feedback.
