GMV Spain seeks an Aerospace Engineer (or related field) to maintain and develop flight dynamics software. You will work on the flight dynamics algorithm layer and its architectural underpinning while collaborating with international space agencies on challenging satellite missions.

Strong background in applied mathematics and space mechanics, plus OO programming; fluency in English and French is required. The role offers a hybrid work model and a relocation package for international candidates.

Responsabilités

• Development and maintenance of the flight dynamics algorithm layer (orbit determination, manoeuvre planning, attitude prediction, manoeuvre assessment).
• Maintenance of the flight dynamics architectural layer, including bug fixes or implementation of new functions for the customer.
• Participation in technical meetings with the customer.
• Provide support to end users (operators of flying satellite missions).

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

You will beresponsible forperforming maintenance of flight – proven FlightDynamics Systems, contributing tosoftware developmentswhileensuring robust maintenance of the system through continuous improvements andtimely issue resolution.

Your mission willencompass the following activities:

• Development andmaintenance of theflight dynamics algorithm layer(orbitdetermination, manoeuvre planning, attitude prediction, manoeuvre assessment)
• Maintenance of existingflight dynamics architectural layer.Thismay includebug fixesorimplementation of newfunctionsrequired by the customer.
• Participation intechnical meetings with the customer.
• As technical experts in the tool,provide support to end users(operatorsof flying satellite missions)
