GMV Toulouse is seeking an aerospace engineer to join the Institutional Flight Dynamics Systems team, focusing on flight dynamics maintenance and software development for satellite missions. You will work in a hybrid model with international collaborators, and relocation support is available.

Strong mathematics and space mechanics background required, with English and French proficiency. This role offers growth in a leading European aerospace group with opportunities to interact with space

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain the flight dynamics algorithm layer (orbit determination, manoeuvre planning, attitude prediction, manoeuvre assessment).
• Maintain the flight dynamics architectural layer and implement fixes or new functions requested by the customer.
• Participate in technical meetings with the customer.
• Provide end-user support to operators of flying satellite missions.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

You will beresponsible forperforming maintenance of flight – proven FlightDynamics Systems, contributing tosoftware developmentswhileensuring robust maintenance of the system through continuous improvements andtimely issue resolution.

Your mission willencompass the following activities:

• Development andmaintenance of theflight dynamics algorithm layer(orbitdetermination, manoeuvre planning, attitude prediction, manoeuvre assessment)
• Maintenance of existingflight dynamics architectural layer.Thismay includebug fixesorimplementation of newfunctionsrequired by the customer.
• Participation intechnical meetings with the customer.
• As technical experts in the tool,provide support to end users(operatorsof flying satellite missions)

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are lookingfor Aerospace Engineering (or related field) graduates witha strong background and interest in flight dynamics and softwareengineering.

Required Skills& Knowledge:

Strong foundation in appliedmathematics
Solid understanding of space mechanics
Object‑oriented programming
Fluency in English and French
