GMV is expanding its Space sector in Toulouse, offering an Embedded Software Developer role focused on onboard software in embedded flight hardware, simulation environments, and telemetry systems.

You will engage in requirements analysis, interface work, and testing within a multidisciplinary, multinational context, with a hybrid working model and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++ for flight software development.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems and embedded software.
• Model-based software engineering (MBSE) familiarity.

Responsabilités

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our On-boardSW team you will have the opportunity to engage in the design andimplementation of software validation facilities, offer technical support forsoftware deployments, and assist in the selection of suitable tools andmicroprocessor platforms across a multidisciplinary and multinational context(embedded flight hardware/software, simulation environments, algorithms, andtelemetry systems).

Some of your mainfunctions would be :

• Defining and analyzing requirements,
• Interface analysis,
• Unit and integration testing, verification andvalidation processes, and the creation of detailed technical

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are lookingfor an Embedded Software developer with backgroundand interest in Computer Science and Cybersecurity.

• Programming languagescommonly used in flight software development, like C or C++,
• Knowledge of Real-time operating systemand Embedded SW development.
• Model-based Software Engineering (MBSE)

We will also value previous experience, andknowledge in Software Engineering based on European Space Agency Standards(http://ecss.nl) ; modelling and SVF Model/Component-Based Software and ToolsSpace Systems Space Grade processor and buses Time and Space Partitioning ; andunderstanding of cybersecurity principles and their application in the space.
