GMV in Toulouse is seeking an Embedded Software developer to join the On-board SW team, contributing to design, validation, and deployment of software for flight and robotics projects.

You will work across requirements, interfaces, architecture, and testing with a multinational team, using C/C++ and MBSE in a hybrid environment with relocation options.

Qualifications

• Programming languages commonly used in flight software development, like C or C++.
• Knowledge of Real-time operating system and Embedded SW development.
• Model-based Software Engineering (MBSE).
• We value familiarity with ESA standards and cybersecurity concepts for space systems.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our On-board SW team you will have the opportunity to engage in the design and implementation of software validation facilities, offer technical support for software deployments, and assist in the selection of suitable tools and microprocessor platforms across a multidisciplinary and multinational context (embedded flight hardware/software, simulation environments, algorithms, and telemetry systems).

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for an Embedded Software developer with background and interest in Computer Science and Cybersecurity.

• Programming languages commonly used in flight software development, like C or C++
• Knowledge of Real-time operating system and Embedded SW development
• Model-based Software Engineering (MBSE)

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in Software Engineering based on European Space Agency Standards (http://ecss.nl); modelling and SVF Model/Component-Based Software and Tools Space Systems Space Grade processor and buses Time and Space Partitioning; and understanding of cybersecurity principles and their application in the space.
