Airbus Defence and Space SAS in Toulouse seeks a Human Factors Engineering and Flight Deck Specialist to lead user-centered HMI workstations across military air platforms. You will apply ergonomic criteria, cognitive workload assessments and multimodal interaction design for cockpits, flight decks and mission consoles.

The role emphasizes end-to-end HFE processes, prototyping and validation, with opportunities for upskilling and international mobility within a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in human factors engineering for military or aviation HMIs.
• Ability to perform task and workload analyses.
• Knowledge of end-to-end HFE processes and validation.

Responsabilités

• Design workstations (cockpits, flight decks, mission consoles, control stations).
• HMI prototyping (hardware and software) including virtual models and mock-ups.
• Apply end-to-end HFE processes from concept to service.
• Conduct mission, task, ergonomic and workload analyses; assess human error risks.
• Support HMI validation, reviews and certification activities.
