ATR is seeking a Human Factors Engineer/Specialist to support the development, modification, and certification of large aircraft. You will ensure HF, HMI, and procedural compliance with international standards and contribute to operational safety and robust systems for pilots, flight crews, and maintenance personnel.

Join a small, focused Engineering Directorate team responsible for human factors requirements, development and V&V strategies, and certification dossiers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master-level engineering degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of human behavior, perception and problem solving and FH methods for complex systems.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, flight operations, and FH certification regulations (CS/ PART 25).
• 5–10 years’ experience in aeronautics; experience with airlines or authorities is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform task and procedure analyses (HTA/CTA, workload, situational awareness).
• Evaluate Human–Machine Interface (HMI) against CS/FAR‑25 and AMC/GM FH requirements.
• Identify HF risks (information overload, ambiguity, errors) and propose design improvements.
• Draft certification dossiers and participate in discussions with certification authorities.
• Lead HF evaluations and collaborate with systems, avionics and safety teams.
