Job Description: Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Human Factors Engineering and Flight Deck Specialist to join our department based in Toulouse - Saint Martin, France.
Human Factors Engineering is responsible for a holistic development of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) for all relevant operators workstations within Military Air platforms, e.g. cockpits, flight decks, mission consoles and ground control stations.
Human-machine interface Design aims at designing the best interface between people and their activities using the best technologies, the best User Interface principles and the best 'design and validation' methodologies such as prototyping methods.
Global capital of aeronautics and European capital for space research, Toulouse is a dynamic city of the southwest of France served by an international airport. Ideally located between the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic ocean and close to the Pyrenees mountains, it offers plenty of options for outdoor activities!
The job mainly consist on the application of Human Factors Engineering (HFE) to ensure a user-centered Workstation/HMI design according to Human Factors criteria:
