Bonhams in Paris is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to support the Shipping Department and the wider European operation in moving fine art securely, timely and cost-effectively. You will manage export/import paperwork, work with 3rd party shippers and ensure compliance across all shipping activities.

The role requires degree-level education or equivalent experience, strong communication, data analysis and the ability to coordinate with specialists, finance and customer service teams.

Qualifications

• Degree and/or experience in a customer-focused role within art/shipping industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Ability to negotiate and influence others.

Responsabilités

• Manage export/import paperwork with 3PLs and internal teams.
• Maintain import/export database (Smartsheet) and ensure standards.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness after each sale.
• Provide import/export instructions and advise internal teams.
• Coordinate with regional shipping teams and departments.
• Obtain export licenses and permits as required.
