Job summary

Soda Data Nv is hiring a Finance & AI Automation Intern to run core finance processes across three entities in two currencies. You’ll automate workflows with Claude, ChatGPT, and GitHub, building robust checks and documentation as you scale operations.

The role blends hands-on accounting with AI-enabled automation in a fully remote or near-Amsterdam hybrid setup. Candidates should have a finance-focused degree or be studying finance-related fields, with proven automation experience and strong

Qualifications

Finance-related degree pursued or recently completed.
Proven ability to build automations or scripts using AI tools.
Accuracy-first mindset with careful verification of numbers.
Comfort with new tools like GitHub, MCP, and finance systems.
Proactive mindset to identify and improve repetitive tasks.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Able to work fully remote or hybrid within European hours.

Responsibilities

Run core finance processes: invoice processing, month-end reporting, payroll data preparation, expense management, and intercompany recharges. Learn them, run them, own them.
Automate them using Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub, and the Soda MCP.
Build checks: reconciliations and controls to verify outputs.
Document processes as you go for both humans and AI.
Support the wider Finance team with reporting, analysis, and ad-hoc projects across Belgian and US entities.
