Omaha Insights is seeking a finance R&D professional to help improve the internal accounting normalization model and to analyze financial data across annual reports and trend variances. You will contribute to diverse research topics such as human capital, asset lives, and backtesting, while leveraging Python, APIs, and Excel within a collaborative, autonomous, and technically advanced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Business School or Engineering School.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial analysis, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Python (pandas) and APIs is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in French is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with rigor and reliability.

Responsabilités

• Continuously enhance the internal accounting normalization model by reviewing and optimizing internal data processing flows.
• Analyze financial data: review annual reports, identify trends and variances, and validate financial information.
• Contribute to various research projects, including topics such as human capital, asset lives, and backtesting.
