Amcor is seeking a Field Technical Service Engineer to support customers across the EMEA region, primarily in France, with up to 70% travel. You will split time between customer sites and production environments, acting as the technical interface for flexible packaging solutions.

You will collaborate with R&D and customers on trials, validate new products, and troubleshoot on-site issues, contributing to product success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Engineering or scientific degree (or equivalent industry experience).
• 2–3+ years in flexible packaging or packaging machinery.
• Understanding of converting processes and filling/packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of packaging validation procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Fluent in French and English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% across the region.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site and remote technical support at customer and OEM sites across packaging applications.
• Diagnose and resolve material, machine, and product interaction issues.
• Deliver detailed service reports and share actionable insights internally.
• Support packaging trials from initial testing to industrial scale-up with R&D and customers.
• Drive root cause analysis, claim resolution and minimize business impact.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, OEMs, and internal stakeholders with technical expertise.
