Job summary

Anton Paar GmbH is seeking a Sales Engineer (m/f/d) for the North-West France Territory. This field-based position focuses on expanding the customer base across industrial, academic, and research segments with strong technical demonstrations and custom proposals.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a scientific field, 3+ years selling scientific instruments, and fluent English. A driving license and French base preference support regular travel within the territory.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales of scientific instruments or technical solutions.
Fluent English is essential; driving licence required; based in Île-de-France or nearby preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute the commercial strategy within the North-West France territory.
Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with industrial, academic, and research customers.
Identify, qualify, and prospect new business opportunities.
Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and end users.
Manage sales opportunities and maintain an accurate sales pipeline using the CRM system.
Promote materials characterization solutions through technical presentations and demonstrations.
Lead negotiations and manage the full sales cycle to order closing.
