Job summary

Anton Paar France seeks a Sales Engineer (m/f/d) for the Brabender product line on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role covers Southern France, ideally based in Lyon, with regular travel to customers and prospects.

You will blend technical expertise with commercial activity to develop sales and support customers across the region. Effective communication with internal teams and Brabender colleagues in Germany is essential to deliver tailored extrusion and compounding solutions.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in science or engineering, ideally in materials science, polymers, plastics engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of technical experience in material testing and/or quality control.
• Professional English proficiency and a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales of the Brabender product range across Southern France.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer portfolio.
• Analyze customers' technical and application requirements.
• Recommend tailored solutions in extrusion and compounding.
• Present solutions and conduct technical equipment demonstrations.
• Provide first-level technical support to customers.
• Support customers throughout their projects and build long-term relationships.
• Manage and follow up on sales opportunities within the territory; collaborate with internal teams.
