Gobano is seeking a Robotic Application Engineer to make our robots perform better in real-world settings. You will work at the intersection of AI, robotics, and industrial operations, deploying and optimizing robotic systems across Europe.

You’ll collaborate with the AI team, debug hardware and software, and adapt our platform to new customer applications while traveling to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills.
• Good robotics fundamentals.
• Comfortable with physical robots, especially arms.
• Able to debug hardware and software.
• Fluent English.
• Willing to travel regularly across Europe.

Responsabilités

• Work hand-in-hand with our AI team to validate new capabilities and continuously improve robot behavior.
• Investigate failures and engineer solutions to improve robot robustness, reliability, and performance.
• Deploy, commission, and optimize robotic systems at customer sites across Europe, including some data collection.
• Apply your robotics expertise to optimize system integration, calibration, sensing, and manipulation.
• Develop internal tools for deployment, debugging, monitoring, and data collection.
• Adapt our robotic platform to new customer applications and industrial environments.

As a Robotic Application Engineer, your mission is simple: make our robots perform better in the real world.

Working at the intersection of AI, robotics, and industrial operations, you’ll use your robotics expertise to continuously improve the performance of our robots in real-world environments. From our lab to customer sites across Europe, you’ll help transform cutting-edge AI into reliable industrial products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Work hand-in-hand with our AI team to validate new capabilities and continuously improve robot behavior.

• Investigate failures and engineer solutions to improve robot robustness, reliability, and performance.

• Deploy, commission, and optimize robotic systems at customer sites across Europe, including some data collection

• Apply your robotics expertise to optimize system integration, calibration, sensing, and manipulation.

• Develop internal tools for deployment, debugging, monitoring, and data collection.

• Adapt our robotic platform to new customer applications and industrial environments.
