Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to support project operations in the field and develop the technical and leadership skills needed for advancement to a Project Engineer role.

Working with Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Project Managers, you will assist with project coordination, documentation, and field operations on heavy highway construction sites. This role offers hands-on experience and a clear growth path.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of construction-related experience.
• Willingness to work in a field-based environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Assist Project Engineers and field leadership with day-to-day project activities.
• Gain an understanding of heavy highway construction means and methods.
• Observe and track project progress, production quantities, and field productivity.
• Participate in daily planning meetings and project coordination efforts.
• Support jobsite logistics and communication between field and office teams.
• Assist with daily reports and project documentation.
• Maintain project records, photographs, and tracking logs.
• Support submittal, RFI, and document control processes.
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop technical knowledge.
• Attend project safety meetings and training programs.
• Learn project management fundamentals through hands-on experience.
