Airbus Defence and Space SAS in Toulouse, France, is seeking a Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer to join a brand-new program in the Military Derivatives department. The role involves FDT analyses on metallic and composite structures and writing stress dossiers and test programs.

You will define justification approaches with Technical Authority, support manufacturing on non-conformities, and work closely with design engineers and stakeholders, employing strong English/French communication.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace) required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance.
• Knowledge of Airbus Calculation methods & tools.
• Advanced level of English and French; Spanish beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Analyse and validate metallic parts in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (FDT) and all composite/hybrid structures.
• Write and/or check stress dossiers, reports and test programs.
• Define justification approaches with Technical Authority and senior engineers.
• Support manufacturing by assessing non-conformities.
• Collaborate with design engineers and communicate with stakeholders.
