AIRBUS DEFENCE AND SPACE SAS in Toulouse, France, seeks a Stress Engineer to join the Stress Department. You will analyse metallic composites and hybrid structures from a stress perspective and contribute to justification dossiers within a dynamic military derivatives program.

You will interact with design, manufacturing, and authorities to ensure robust stress solutions and timely documentation throughout the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience performing stress analysis on metallic composites or hybrid structures.
• Knowledge of aerospace material behavior and failure criteria.
• Ability to prepare technical dossiers and reports to support justification.
• Good communication with design, manufacturing, and authorities.

Responsabilités

• Analyse and validate metallic composites or hybrid structures from a stress perspective.
• Write and/or check stress dossiers, reports or justifications, and test programs/reports.
• Define justification approaches with support from Technical Authority and senior engineers.
• Support manufacturing by assessing non-conformities.
• Collaborate with design engineers and coordinate with stakeholders within and outside Airbus.
