Airbus Defence and Space SAS is seeking Fatigue and Damage Tolerance engineers to join the Toulouse team, driving FDT analyses for metallic, composite, and hybrid structures. The role involves stress dossier work, justification strategies, and collaboration with authorities and suppliers.

The position requires a Master in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and at least 3 years of FDT experience, with strong English and French skills. A security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance.
• Good knowledge of Airbus Calculation methods & tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Autonomous approach with adaptability.
• Advanced English and French; Spanish beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Analyse and validate metallic parts in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance, including composites/hybrids.
• Write or check stress dossiers, reports, justifications, test programs and reports.
• Define justification approaches and ensure progress with Technical Authority and senior engineers.
• Support manufacturing by assessing non-conformities.
• Collaborate with design engineers and liaise with stakeholders (experts, civil/military authorities, Airbus teams and subcontractors).
