Airbus Defence and Space SAS in Toulouse, France, is seeking a Stress Engineer to join the Stress Department. You will analyse metallic composites and hybrid structures from a stress perspective and prepare dossiers, reports, and justifications for design approvals.

The role requires a Master degree in engineering, at least 3 years of stress analysis experience, and strong knowledge of Airbus calculation methods. Proficiency in English and French is essential.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Engineering and strong theoretical background in structural analyses.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in stress analysis within aerospace or related fields.
• Familiarity with advanced calculation methods used by Airbus.

Responsabilités

• Analyse metallic composites and hybrid structures from a stress point of view.
• Write and/or check stress dossiers, reports or justifications, as well as test programs and reports.
• Define justification approaches and ensure progress with Technical Authority and Senior engineers.
• Support manufacturing by assessing non-conformities.
• Collaborate with design engineers and interface with stakeholders (experts, authorities, teams, subcontractors).
