Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Visual Designer for contract work focused on expert-level presentation design. You will design decks using brand assets and reference materials, ensuring typography, grids, and visual systems remain consistently on-brand.

The role is remote, with 10-40 hours per week, offering flexible scheduling and collaboration with stakeholders to refine templates and deliver polished slides across multiple formats.

Qualifications

• Agency, in-house corporate comms/brand, or freelance deck designer experience.
• Advanced typography, layout, color usage, iconography and grid systems.
• Fluency in building and applying visual template systems across slide types.
• Ability to infer and replicate visual styles from reference decks.
• Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint and/or Keynote.
• Familiarity with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsabilités

• Design and author expert-level presentation tasks using reference decks and brand assets.
• Create gold-standard example decks with refined typography, grid, and visual system fidelity.
• Define criteria for 'on-brand' and 'polished' presentation design.
• Develop visual rubrics evaluating model outputs on craft and style consistency.
• Identify and flag visual failure modes specific to AI design.
• Communicate feedback and reasoning effectively to stakeholders.
