Qwello GmbH in Paris seeks a Bid Manager to own public tender activity end to end. You will run the French tenders pipeline, craft compelling technical and financial proposals, and align Operations, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and HQ around deadlines.

You will be fluent in French and English, travel within France as needed, and drive winning bids in EV charging and infrastructure markets. Join a collaborative, remote-friendly team in our Paris office.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience responding to French tenders (public and private) in bid management, business development or a technical proposal role.
• Track record of winning tenders and ability to explain why others were lost.
• Outstanding written French and ability to tailor responses to criteria.
• Comfort reading tender documents, pricing models, and building strong, persuasive arguments.
• Able to coordinate contributions from non-direct reports under tight deadlines.
• Structured under pressure with multiple bids in parallel and fixed deadlines.
• Willingness to travel within France for site visits and oral presentations.

Responsabilités

• Tender pipeline: monitor the French market tenders pipeline and qualify opportunities.
• Go/no-go: decide with Sales Manager based on scoring, competition, pricing, and constraints.
• Bid ownership: manage each tender from launch to award including schedule and submission.
• Writing: draft technical and financial propositions and tailor responses to authorities.
• Coordination: gather input from Operations, Finance, Legal, Marketing and HQ.
• Public sector relationships: work with municipalities, metropoles and energy bodies.
• Bid library: build reusable content to speed future bids.
• Debriefs: analyze results and benchmark against competition.
• Reporting: update Sales Manager and HQ on pipeline and deadlines.
