Jobtailor in Nantes, France, seeks an Operations Engineer to manage the EV charging infrastructure across sites in France and Western Europe. You will commission, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment, train users, and ensure service availability.

You’ll work with CRM/CMMS/ticketing, collaborate with Sales and Operations, and ensure KPI objectives and safety standards are met. Travel across France is required, with on-call rotation essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or Master’s in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, electronics, industrial maintenance, or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in EV charging infrastructure sector
• Experience in operations, monitoring, or maintenance of technical equipment
• Strong command of monitoring tools, CMMS, CRM, or ticketing software
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-resolution skills
• Fluent professional English, both spoken and written
• Valid Category B driving licence
• Excellent customer relationship skills and ability to work independently
• Experience with DC fast-charging infrastructure
• Knowledge of charging protocols (OCPP, OCPI)
• Experience in an international environment
• Interest in energy transition challenges
• Experience in continuous improvement or developing operational processes
• Location: Île-de-France or Western France
• Frequent travel throughout France, occasional assignments in Western Europe
• Participation in the team’s on-call rotation

Responsabilités

• Commission charging stations on site
• Configure digital services according to customer requirements
• Train users in operating the infrastructure
• Remotely monitor charging stations and ensure their availability
• Diagnose and resolve technical incidents remotely
• Organize preventive and corrective maintenance interventions
• Track interventions and ensure they are documented in CRM, CMMS, ticketing system
• Manage spare parts and coordinate technical service providers
• Occasionally work on site to perform complex diagnostics
• Participate in the Operations team’s on-call rotation
• Ensure compliance with KPIs and safety rules
• Conduct performance reviews with customers in collaboration with Sales teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operating procedures and product development
• Ensure infrastructure availability of more than 99%
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders under the responsibility of the Operations Director
