Job summary

Ecolab Purification Technologies seeks a Technical Consultant to support customers, sales teams and partners across Europe. You will provide expert application support for ion exchange, adsorbents and catalysts, perform data-driven process evaluations, and help identify opportunities for resin optimization and value creation.

Travel across Europe (~30%) is required. The role emphasizes technical training, customer workshops, and collaboration with R&D and product management to drive new product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in polymer chemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, water technology or related field.
• At least 3 years in technical consulting, applications engineering or water treatment.
• Strong chemistry knowledge and industrial process understanding.
• Fluent English in writing and speaking; willingness to travel Europe.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and with multinational teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for ion exchange, adsorbent and catalyst applications.
• Evaluate customer processes and identify opportunities for resin optimization using data analysis and site audits.
• Assist commissioning, start-up support and operational optimization for customers.
• Support sales teams with product selection, troubleshooting and recommendations.
• Collaborate with regional sales to identify new business opportunities and provide technical input during visits and proposals.
• Use PRSM and internal tools for process evaluations and design calculations; contribute to training.
