Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks an Industry Technical Consultant to serve as a Subject Matter Expert for closed loop systems, focusing on chemistry, microbiology, heat transfer, and direct-to-chip cooling. The role involves technical leadership across customer applications, training, and collaboration with sales, R&D, and marketing.

The candidate will troubleshoot thermal management challenges, quantify efficiency improvements, and support innovation projects while traveling across Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (Chemistry or Microbiology)
• 5+ years experience in closed loop water treatment, glycol-based systems, thermal management, data center infrastructure, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, or adjacent cooling and heat transfer applications
• Strong problem solving mindset and approach; strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with field sales and corporate teams on industry-specific technical opportunities
• Support direct-to-chip liquid cooling applications and the wider closed loop portfolio
• Train technical audiences and provide support to ensure proper use of implemented systems
• Lead problem solving using root cause analysis at customer sites
• Collaborate with R&D and Marketing on innovation projects from ideation to launch
