Ecolab in Paris is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join the Global High Tech team, developing water and wastewater treatment solutions for strategic customers and supporting the project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.

You will perform mass balances, process flow diagrams, prepare technical proposals and CAPEX/OPEX estimates, collaborate with commercial, engineering and operations teams, and travel up to 15% to advance projects across Europe.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years experience with the design and supporting the sale of water and/or wastewater equipment and systems.
• Experience preparing process calculations, mass balances and process flow diagrams.
• Fluent written and spoken English, plus French/Spanish language skills.
• Strong commercial mindset and financial acumen.
• Synthesis and pragmatic approach; capable of handling pressure.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% of time.

Mansioni

• Support the development of Global High Tech opportunities by partnering with Senior Design Engineers and commercial teams to design water and wastewater treatment solutions for industrial customers.
• Develop mass balances, process flow diagrams, water mapping studies and technical documentation to support project development and customer discussions.
• Prepare technical proposals, equipment selections and CAPEX/OPEX estimates that align with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, supporting project execution, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers and engineering teams to ensure technical requirements are translated into project delivery.
• Conduct site surveys and evaluate customer operations to identify technical needs and develop fit-for-purpose treatment solutions.
• Analyze water and wastewater systems from process, operational and mechanical perspectives and recommend solutions meeting customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Support existing O&M contracts through troubleshooting, diagnostics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders while providing technical guidance and support.
• Apply sound engineering judgment and financial awareness to prioritize opportunities and balance CAPEX and OPEX performance.
