Vesuvius Process Metrix, a global technology leader, is seeking a Sales Manager Europe to own and drive commercial growth across the European market. You will develop and execute regional sales strategies, identify opportunities, and manage complex sales cycles for bespoke laser measurement systems in heavy industry.

The role requires a proven international B2B sales track record, strong CAPEX exposure, and fluency in English and German.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 10 years of international B2B sales experience.
Proven experience selling bespoke machinery, special-purpose machines, industrial automation systems, or engineered solutions.
Strong background in technical and CAPEX sales involving complex and consultative sales cycles.
Experience in heavy industry, steel, metals, manufacturing, process industries, or related sectors is highly valued.
Excellent commercial acumen combined with strong technical understanding.
Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and results-oriented.
Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (>50%).

Responsabilités

Drive sales growth and develop a strong opportunity pipeline across Europe.
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the steel and metallurgical industries.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
Build strong relationships with plant managers, engineers, operations leaders, and decision-makers.
Develop regional growth plans in collaboration with the Commercial Director.
Work closely with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
Create synergies with other Vesuvius business units and sales organizations.
