Job summary

BD is expanding its European Sales Training & Capability Academy and seeks a Sales Enablement & Capability Trainer to shape how commercial teams learn, develop and perform across Europe.

You’ll deliver engaging sales training in-person, virtually and blended, translating methodologies into practical customer scenarios and coaching managers to reinforce learning in the field. This role requires travel around 30% and fluent English with another European language, with compensation for experience.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in sales training, commercial capability, facilitation or learning & development.
• Excellent facilitation and coaching skills, both face-to-face and virtually.
• Experience working with or supporting customer-facing teams in a complex, consultative environment.
• Fluent English plus at least one additional European language.
• Very good stakeholder management in an international, matrix environment.
• Confident using digital learning, data and AI-enabled tools.
• Experience with sales methodologies or direct customer-facing experience is a strong advantage.
• MedTech or healthcare experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging in-person, virtual and blended sales training across Europe.
• Facilitate learning for sales teams, and other customer-facing roles, and frontline sales managers.
• Translate sales methodologies and commercial tools into practical, real-world customer scenarios.
• Support managers with coaching tools and reinforcement activities to embed learning in the field.
• Partner with Sales Leaders, Commercial Excellence and cross-functional teams to ensure training meets local business needs.
• Use learner feedback, assessment and adoption data to identify capability gaps and improve learning impact.
• Share best practices and help create and shape a consistent European Sales Training & Capability Academy.
