Umicore’s Electro Optic Materials division is seeking a Commercial Manager Europe to drive sales growth across Europe for InfraRed Solutions. You will develop existing customer relationships and actively identify new business opportunities, becoming the trusted commercial partner through the full sales cycle.

You will lead negotiations, craft commercial offers, and collaborate with Operations, R&D and Product teams to translate technical insights into customer solutions.

Qualificações

• Experience in B2B sales or account management in manufacturing/technical settings.
• Fluency in English and French required.
• Ability to travel regularly across Europe.

Responsabilidades

• Drive sales growth across Europe by managing existing accounts and pursuing new opportunities.
• Understand production flows, cost drivers to optimize pricing, margins, and delivery.
• Maintain long-term customer relationships as primary commercial contact.
• Lead opportunities from prospecting through quotation, negotiation, and closure.
• Lead meetings, prepare offers, negotiate contracts with internal support.
• Understand customer applications to tailor technical solutions.
• Gather market insights and feedback to Operations, R&D, Product teams.
• Maintain sales pipeline and accurate CRM forecasts.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Technical teams for delivery.
• Attend customer visits, trade fairs, events to generate opportunities.
• Support continuous improvement and ensure quality/safety procedures.
• Travel regularly across Europe to visit customers.
