Job summary

Umicore AG & Co. KG, located in Acigné, FR, seeks a Commercial Manager Europe to drive sales growth for EOM InfraRed Solutions. You will manage existing accounts and identify new opportunities across Europe, building trusted commercial partnerships through the full sales cycle.

The role requires strong English and French, a proactive commercial mindset, and the ability to travel regularly. You will collaborate with Operations, R&D, and Product teams to deliver value-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a B2B sales or account management role within a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Fluent in English and French, additional European languages are a plus.
• Proactive commercial mindset with enthusiasm for developing new business.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at various levels.
• Experience managing opportunities from prospecting through contract negotiation.
• Comfortable with sales pipelines, forecasts and commercial KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by managing existing customer accounts across Europe.
• Understand production flows, processes, and cost drivers to optimize pricing and delivery commitments.
• Build and expand long-term customer relationships as the primary commercial contact.
• Lead opportunities from prospecting through quotation, negotiation and contract closure.
• Prepare commercial offers and negotiate contracts with internal support.
• Develop knowledge of customers' applications and production processes to provide technical solutions.
• Gather market insights to identify new sales opportunities and share feedback with teams.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate CRM data.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Technical teams for delivery and satisfaction.
• Attend customer visits, trade fairs and industry events to build relationships.
