Job summary

FCM is seeking a talented Bid Manager to own the end-to-end bid lifecycle, coordinating across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Product and Operations to produce professional, compliant and commercially compelling tender responses that clearly communicate FCM's value proposition and differentiation.

You will lead bid planning sessions, manage governance, maintain document controls, and ensure timely submissions under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• English (C2) is essential.
• French (C1/C2) preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in PR, journalism, or bid writing across any industry is essential.
• Advanced MS Word & MS Office proficiency is essential.
• APMP Foundation/Practitioner certification preferred.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Are you a talented bid professional with a passion for creating compelling, high-impact proposals that win business? We're looking for an experienced Bid Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting FCM's growth across EMEA and global markets, while partnering closely with Account Management and Corporate brands within the UK.

In this highly visible role, you'll take full ownership of the end-to-end bid management process, leading the development of persuasive, client-focused proposals that clearly communicate FCM's value proposition. Working with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Product and Operations, you'll bring together expertise from across the business to deliver professional, compliant and commercially compelling tender responses.

As the driving force behind each bid, you'll coordinate proposal teams, manage timelines, maintain governance and document controls, and ensure every submission is delivered to the highest standard and within tight deadlines. Your ability to transform complex information into clear, engaging and winning content will be key to securing new business opportunities and strengthening FCM's market position.

About You

• English C2 proficiency - essential
• French C1 or C2 proficiency - preferred
• Any other European language - preferred but not essential
• 3-5 years experience PR, Journalist and/or bid writing experience across any industry - essential
• Advanced MS Word skills & proficient in MS Office - essential
• Certified to APMP Foundation/Practitioner Level - preferred
• Education to degree level - preferred
• Proposal automation software (or similar) experience - preferred
