Cummins Inc. is seeking a talented HSE Project Specialist - Europe Powergen in Chassieu, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France. You will lead health, safety and environmental initiatives across PowerGen projects and partner with project managers and site teams to embed HSE requirements.

The role supports installation, commissioning and delivery with Cummins standards and European regulations. Experience includes 3–5 years in HSE, NEBOSH certification, and a degree in related fields.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HSE experience in construction or field environments.
• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent certification required.
• Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Management or related.
• Willingness to travel ~50% across Europe.
• Experience with contractor onboarding and field HSE oversight.
• Strong incident investigation and risk assessment skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead HSE initiatives across PowerGen installation and delivery projects.
• Embed HSE requirements across project execution with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Cummins standards and European regs.
• Lead HSE risk management, RAMS, JSA equivalents and risk controls.
• Verify site readiness; manage lift, electrical, confined space, permit-to-work.
• Oversee contractor onboarding and HSE performance monitoring.
• Use metrics and investigations to drive improvements and reporting.
• Promote a positive HSE culture through coaching and training.
