Socomec Sas in France is seeking an HSE professional reporting to the HSE Manager to join the Huttenheim and Nordhouse sites. You will support teams in risk prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of HSE performance.

As a proactive contributor, you will lead improvement projects to enhance safety, working conditions, risk management, and environmental performance, while promoting a safety culture and managing ICPE-related requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health, Safety, and Environment (Bac+5) required.
• At least 2 years of HSE experience.
• Experience on industrial sites or in electrical services.
• Proficiency in English and French (B2 level).

Responsabilités

• Contribute to updating the single safety document and propose actions to reduce occupational risks and improve workplace ergonomics.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with ICPE standards.
• Define and monitor HSE action plans, track developments and oversee inspections.
• Support projects from an HSE perspective (ergonomics, machine compliance, risk analysis).
• Propose and implement initiatives to foster a safety culture among teams.
• Support managers in addressing their HSE challenges.
• Analyze and track workplace accidents, illnesses and near misses.
• Participate in the annual HSE audit program.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will join a team of four employees and serve as the HSE point of contact for the Huttenheim and Nordhouse sites. You will support teams in risk prevention, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the continuous improvement of HSE performance. As a proactive contributor, you will lead improvement projects aimed at sustainably enhancing safety, working conditions, risk management, and the environmental performance of the sites.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to updating the single safety document and propose actions to reduce occupational risks and improve workplace ergonomics
• Ensure regulatory compliance with ICPE standards
• Define and monitor HSE action plans, track HSE regulatory developments within the relevant scopes, and oversee regulatory inspections within your area of responsibility
• Support industrial and technical projects from an HSE perspective (ergonomics, machine compliance, risk analysis)
• Propose and implement initiatives aimed at fostering a safety culture among teams
• Support the implementation of behavioral prevention initiatives (Safety Observation, BBS)
• Support managers in addressing their HSE challenges
• Analyze and track workplace accidents, occupational illnesses, and near misses
• Participate in the annual HSE audit program

Qualifications

• Master's degree (Bac +5) or equivalent in Health, Safety, and Environment
• At least 2 years of experience
• Experience in HSE at an industrial site or in an electrical services company
• Occupational risk prevention
• Proficiency in English and French (B2 level)
