IPVF – Photovoltaic Institute of Île-de-France in Paris-Saclay is seeking a research engineer to advance III-V materials, manage MBE equipment, and collaborate with partners on semiconductor materials and transport layers. The role sits within the Manufacturing Processes and Product Development team and involves creating reference layers for internal needs.

You will contribute to ongoing research projects, work in a multidisciplinary setting, and liaise with C2N-CNRS and Sunlit team to leverage

Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science is required.
• Experience with III-V materials and epitaxy.
• Proficiency in MBE equipment management and operation.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilités

• Plan, monitor and maintain MBE equipment and procedures.
• Develop growth and epitaxy processes for photovoltaic materials.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on semiconductor materials or transport layers.
• Produce reference layers for internal needs and contribute to research projects.
• Bridge communication between IPVF and project stakeholders to disseminate innovations.
