Job summary

Murphy AI in Paris is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own technical execution of AI agent builds for bank clients. You will scope with client leads, design, build, test, and launch agents on client systems.

Post-launch, you’ll analyze production data, explain results to customers, and iterate on agent and strategy choices. You’ll lead enterprise deployments for banks and large lenders in France, working across languages and channels, with strong emphasis on end-to-end delivery and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role or equivalent.
• You write code and SQL, work with APIs and build integrations end to end.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs: prompting, evals, guardrails, harnesses, tool use.
• Delivered production systems for enterprise customers with structured testing.
• Able to explain technical decisions to senior stakeholders and translate requirements into delivery plans.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise agent builds, from POC to production launch.
• Define agent operating procedures with the customer and translate them into agent behavior.
• Design and engineer prompt and agent logic for identification, negotiation and payment conversations.
• Configure Murphy to fit client needs: call windows, retry rules, channels, payments, and hand-offs to humans.
• Build evaluation and simulation harnesses and regression tests against real call outcomes.
• Maintain integrations with customer systems: core banking, collections platforms, data pipelines, telephony.
• Diagnose failures from transcripts and logs and fix or flag to Engineering.
• Analyze production performance with SQL and dashboards and present findings to customers.
• Work with stakeholders to define success metrics and timelines.
• Support Account Execs with technical discovery and demos.
• Turn lessons into templates and train new FDEs.
