Datadog is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Security Libraries team, delivering run‑time security across seven language libraries and HTTP proxy integrations. You will shape the technical bar, maintain production health, and drive capabilities at scale.

You'll balance people leadership with product ownership, collaborate across language teams, and contribute where it matters most to keep high quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineers and setting direction with product managers.
• Strong software engineering background with system/run-time software.
• Proven track record coaching engineers and growing talent.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of ~4–8 library engineers and coach senior ICs.
• Own delivery, planning, milestones, reviews, and on-call rotation.
• Set product direction across App & API Protection, Workload, and Code Security.
• Stay technically close, contribute code where it matters, maintain quality.
• Align language teams with product, backend, and frontend partners.
• Shape team identity and accountability for problems.
