Datadog is seeking a senior polyglot engineer to contribute across security libraries with .NET or Java expertise. You will design and build security integrations and detections, taking them from prototype to production-ready and owning them in production across thousands of applications.

You will join a product-focused engineering culture, connect libraries to customer value, and help decide what to build while maintaining performance and cost awareness.

Qualifications

• Expert in at least one of .NET (C#) or Java with ability to contribute across other libraries.
• Proven track record shipping libraries/SDKs and maintaining backwards compatibility.
• Strong product-engineering mindset aligning code with customer outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and own security integrations and detections across multiple libraries with .NET and/or Java focus.
• Take projects from prototype to production-hardened, instrument thousands of applications.
• Own systems operationally: monitor telemetry, debug cross-system issues, reduce customer-facing problems.
• Shape roadmaps, define OKRs, and drive RFCs for alignment across teams.
• Partner with product, backend, and frontend teams to translate ideas into valuable capabilities.
• Mentor teammates and raise code quality and testing standards.
