Datadog is seeking an engineering manager for the Training & Serving team to lead the growth of a fast-moving group focused on distributed training and serving of AI models. You will shape the technical vision, guide the roadmap, and coordinate with core platform, Applied AI, and infrastructure teams.

You will foster a strong team culture, balance hands-on leadership with strategic planning, and ensure high-quality software delivery in a rapidly evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams (1+ years).
• Hands-on engineering leader comfortable coding and reviewing.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (product/science).

Responsabilités

• Manage and grow the Training & Serving team, directly managing 10+ engineers.
• Define our technical roadmap in alignment with AI platform goals.
• Work with core platform teams to tailor storage, infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Create a strong team culture aligned with engineering standards and customer focus.
• Participate in hands-on work: code reviews, design reviews and some coding.
