Job summary

Keoni is seeking an experienced Engineer/SRE to support run operations across a European environment. The role focuses on ensuring daily performance, reliability, and automated improvements of application infrastructure.

You will implement monitoring, observability, and data-driven metrics to drive service reliability. The position emphasizes collaboration with development teams to enhance long-term usability, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and deliver actionables for post-incident reviews.

Qualifications

• Proficient in system administration across Linux and Windows, with knowledge of hardware, networks, security, and backups.
• Experience in middleware, containerization, orchestration, and DBMS.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and ability to implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with defining SLOs/SLAs/SLIs and incident/problem management processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of applications and infrastructure.
• Manage incidents and problems, conduct post-mortems and lessons learned reviews, and propose improvements.
• Automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual operational workload.
• Collaborate with developers to improve long-term usability of solutions.
• Enhance monitoring and observability dashboards and tooling.
• Produce operational deliverables including reports, runbooks, and knowledge transfer.

# ENGINEER / SRE / SYSOPS RUN SUPPORT* ENGINEER / SRE / SYSOPS RUN SUPPORTCONTEXT: As part of implementing agile and incremental development practices, working within an integrated Build and Run team may be required. RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, the candidate will provide application operation and industrialization services, ensure the daily performance and availability of applications, and work towards the continuous improvement of application operations, particularly through automation and the implementation of relevant operational metrics for the application and the measurement of goal achievement. The candidate may also be asked to incorporate monitoring, supervision, and observability of systems and applications into their work.PROFILE & Technical Requirements: • System administration skills: management of on-premises servers , operating systems (Linux, Windows), hardware, network, security, and backups. • Skills in system engineering, middleware, containerization, orchestration, and DBMS. • Proficiency in software architectures and basic knowledge of application development. • Understanding of DevOps infrastructure and the ability to implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines. • Ability to define Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Service Level Indicators (SLIs). • Experience participating in Incident Management and Problem Management processes . • Ability to investigate root causes . • Proficiency in automating recurring tasks (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, etc.). • Ability to implement and adapt monitoring and supervision tools.Main activities: • Ensure the availability of applications and infrastructure • Manage incidents and problems, conduct post-mortems and lessons learned reviews, and propose continuous improvement solutions • Automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual operational workload • Work closely with developers to improve the long-term usability of solutions • Enhance monitoring and traceability tools • Capitalize on and transfer skillsDELIVERABLES.
