# Technical Administrator - OBSERVABILITY AND RUN MONITORING* Home* Technical Administrator - OBSERVABILITY AND RUN MONITORING* July 9, 2026* 0 Comments* By Roberte OkoyaMission Context: Within the framework of the OBSERVABILITY AND RUN MONITORING service's activities, the following missions are required: Proficiency in the Dynatrace monitoring tool is essential to ensure effective monitoring of application and infrastructure performance. In-depth analyses are expected to identify malfunctions and support diagnoses in the context of incidents, crisis management teams, and proactive daily observability to guarantee the quality of the Run. These analyses should lead to the implementation of improvement areas to be rolled out or implemented (monitoring and operational maintenance). Coordination and management are expected to support the Operations Support Team (CDS) in managing and monitoring the Run in conjunction with the daily activities of the OBSERVABILITY AND RUN MONITORING service. Overall, for the mission within the Observability and Run Monitoring department: – Ensure the technical and functional control and monitoring of applications by mastering the connection chains and available tools (Zabbix, Dynatrace, Appdynamics, ServiceNow, Splunk) – Guarantee application availability and be involved in shutdowns/restarts/verifications. (Technical mastery of commands or procedures for managing servers, JVMs, and application services, depending on the OS) – Manage Level 1 & Level 2 incidents (Implement the necessary actions to restore services or identify the appropriate escalations) – Write and maintain the necessary instructions related to the area of intervention. – Perform proactive and incident-based analyses of infrastructure and application availability. (Analysis, synthesis, action plan, proactive approach...) -> Ability to independently create and use monitoring dashboards in our various tools (Zabbix, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, Graphana, proficiency in Excel and statistics – pivot table statistics...) -> Collect/analyze monitoring metrics and enable the processing of weak signals to prevent incidents. (To improve procedures, reduce incidents, recurrences...) -> Participate in the problem management process to report technical or functional malfunctions (Continuous Improvement). -> Implement/organize the deployment of monitoring tools as needed. – Active participation in crisis teams, able to identify deviations. (Presentation, explanation, contribution to the action plan) – Participation in projects to implement the Operations component (DEX, Observability, Monitoring) – Participate in the PCI and ensure the smooth execution of cutover operations by following procedures. - Carry out planned interventions within your area of expertise (HO and HNO deliveries, contributing to changes and relaunches of applications or environments, observability, delivery (fixes, short cycles, major deployments)...). - Provide technical support to the remote site's Service Center and facilitate feedback and responses to needs for these stakeholders. - Monitor indicators and deviations within the Service Center's framework. - Write and maintain procedures for the Service Center. A solid understanding of Windows Server and Linux operating systems is essential to monitor our applications running on various technologies (JVMs, Apache, Tomcat, Wildfly, OpenShift... see below). AIX is also required, but to a lesser extent. Extensive use of technical monitoring tools is necessary. Proficiency in their use is required. (Zabbix, Dynatrace, Splunk ITSI, ServiceNow, ELK (Kibana) As a second step in this mission, knowledge of Mainframe would be a plus (MVS, TSA, AS400, or the TOPx tool). Otherwise, reversibility and skills development will need to be arranged if we progress in this area. Target tasks: - Monitor the availability of mainframe environments and intervene in IPLs, restarts, and interventions (manual recovery, application of instructions, unblocking, etc.) (TSA) - Monitor production and non-production resources, ensuring availability and proper functioning.Required skills: – OS: Windows Server 2003 to 2019 / Linux RedHat CENTOS / Unix (AIX) – Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (pivot tables), Confluence, Power BI – ServiceNow, Splunk – Physical Servers, VMware – WebSphere Application Server, Citrix publishing, WildFly, OpenShift, MQ Series... – Monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Zabbix, Splunk, Selenium, ELK, Graphana... – Mainframe: TSA Participation in on-call duty and regular interventions within the managed areas. (Regular after-hours support) Management of significant documentation with daily maintenance to be produced. Please send your CV, cover letter, and copies of your diplomas to contact@keoni.fr
