Team Electric Group is seeking an Engine Spaces Supervisor for the V35 project in Saint-Nazaire, France. Lead installation works, coordinate electrical teams and ensure project milestones are met within a tight schedule.

You will collaborate with the Project Manager, read electrical drawings, manage resources, and report progress weekly while maintaining strict health and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in engine room installations, preferably in shipbuilding or offshore projects.
• Several years of experience as an electrical supervisor, team leader or in a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, plans and schematics.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical components and cables.
• Strong knowledge of safe working practices in engine spaces.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and direct a team.
• Good computer skills, including MS Excel and Teams.
• English skills that allows effective day-to-day communication.

Responsabilités

Become an Engine Spaces Supervisor on the V35 project in France!
Join our skilled team and lead the installation works at the heart of the vessel.

General Responsibilities

Strategic Project Planning:

• You will work closely with the Project Manager and management team to develop effective strategies for engine spaces installation works.
• Plan the resources required for your assigned area, or review subcontractors' resource plans.
• Provide weekly progress reports to keep stakeholders informed.
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety protocols in engine spaces and across the site.
• Order the required materials from the project warehouses in good time to keep work flowing without interruption.

Project Execution Excellence:

• You will supervise and coordinate electrical and technical teams working in engine spaces.
• Plan and coordinate onboard activities with other contractors so that all systems in the engine room are integrated into the overall project.
• Hold weekly on-site meetings with other contractors to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Take part in client inspections and present key project milestones.

Quality Control and Adaptability:

• You will monitor progress and make proactive adjustments to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards.

Effective Communication and Reporting:

• You will keep open lines of communication with contractors and team members to maintain a collaborative working environment.
• Provide regular updates and reports to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
