• Ability to prepare and work with technical installation documentation.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Availability for offshore assignments.

Subsea Installation Methods Engineer (M/F)

Capefront Energies is looking for experienced Subsea Installation Methods Engineers to join major international Oil & Gas projects.

The position is based in the Paris area, France, with offshore assignments.

Duration: 1 year

Your responsibilities

As a Subsea Installation Methods Engineer, you will work within a Subsea Methods Engineering team and be responsible for preparing the technical documentation required for offshore installation activities.

Your scope will include:

• Preparation of technical documentation for offshore installation operations
• Development of installation methods taking into account client specifications and project constraints
• Integration of vessel and barge constraints into installation methodologies
• Assessment of offshore site feasibility
• Engineering activities related to subsea structures
• Installation engineering for flowlines, risers and umbilicals
• Coordination and interfaces with other engineering disciplines
• Autonomous execution of assigned engineering activities under the responsibility of the project management
• Participation in offshore assignments when required

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas and offshore/subsea installation engineering.

You should have:

• Proven experience in Subsea Installation Methods Engineering
• Experience with offshore installation activities
• Knowledge of subsea structures, flowlines, risers and/or umbilicals
• Ability to prepare and work with technical installation documentation
• Ability to work autonomously and interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Availability for offshore assignments

Mandatory offshore certifications

• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate – OGUK certified

These certifications are explicitly mandatory in the technical specifications.
