Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, part of Covenant Health, is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support nursing and provider staff in a fast-paced ED. The role includes hands-on patient care, charting, and communication on the unit.
The position requires CPR and appropriate EMT/LPN/MA/CNA licensure or active student status in an accredited program. Responsibilities include triage support, phlebotomy, wound care, specimen collection, and maintaining a safe, clean ED environment.

Functions as a specialized direct patient caregiver in the Emergency Department, performing tasks to assist nurses and providers. Performs hands‑on care, specified technical tasks, and coordinates communications on the unit.
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
One (1) years’ experience as an EMT, HUC, LPN, MA, or PCA/CNA OR must meet licensure requirement below.
CPR required. If less than one (1) years’ experience, must have current EMT registry or license, LPN, MA, or CNA certification at time of hire/promotion or be a s tudent in an accredited nursing education program. Student must have successfully completed fundamental clinical skills portion of the program (1 st semester of clinicals).
