Qualifications

  • Masters in Marketing in the field Marketing / Business –biology, pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Experience in pharma innovation / generics / CDMO / excipient provider industry.
  • Strong strategic marketing, go-to-market planning and hands-on commercial execution capability.
  • Ability to translate market, customer, competitive and tender intelligence into clear choices and field actions.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical B2B markets; knowledge of generics and tender-driven business is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Translate the global pharma marketing strategy into an actionable EMEA marketing and go-to-market plan.

Our Capsules & Health Ingredients business unit is the trusted partner and market leader in innovative capsules, dosage forms, and health ingredients for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies. The Regional Pharma Marketing Lead - EMEA is a key member of the regional marketing organization, responsible for translating the global Pharma strategy into impactful regional marketing, demand generation and go-to-market programs. The role develops market insights, customer value propositions and integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen customer engagement, generate demand and support profitable growth across the Pharma portfolio. Leveraging market, customer, competitive and tender intelligence, the incumbent identifies and prioritizes growth opportunities, with particular focus on protecting and expanding the EMEA generics business. In close collaboration with Pharma Business Development, Sales and Global Marketing teams, the role leads regional innovation marketing, supports commercial activation and ensures measurable business impact through effective execution of marketing and go-to-market strategies. This position is based in Colmar, France (hybrid).

What you will do
  • Regional marketing strategy, planning and prioritization
  • Translate the global pharma marketing strategy and portfolio direction into an actionable EMEA marketing and go-to-market plan, with clear priorities by market segment, customer, country and product or molecule.
  • Establish objectives, execution roadmaps, KPIs and performance reviews that connect marketing activity to pipeline quality, customer engagement, retention and profitable growth.
  • Market, customer, competitive and tender intelligence
  • With the help of the global Marketing Intelligence and Product Management team, build a fact-based view of the EMEA pharma market by mapping manufacturers, molecules, sourcing models, customer needs, competitive moves, volume shifts and tender exposure.
  • Develop customer insight through direct engagement with key stakeholders
  • Provide support in preparing expert session and public speaking on pharma related topics for regional leadership team.
  • Generics growth and tender strategy
  • Own the regional marketing strategy to protect and maximize the EMEA generics business, identifying opportunities to retain existing business and expand share with targeted customers and molecules.
  • Build and maintain tender intelligence, support tender prioritization and shape differentiated offers in partnership with Sales, BD, Pricing and Product Management.
  • Monitor retention, tender pipeline, win rates, volume and margin development, and recommend corrective or acceleration actions.
  • Innovation marketing in partnership with Business Development
  • Lead the marketing dimension of regional pharma innovation in close collaboration with Pharma BD, connecting unmet customer needs and market trends with portfolio and technology opportunities.
  • Support the prioritization, positioning and commercial validation of innovation opportunities, including customer discovery, value proposition development, launch readiness and early market activation.
  • Ensure innovation initiatives are integrated into regional account and go-to-market priorities and that learnings are shared with global Product Management, R&D and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Portfolio, launch and lifecycle management
  • In coordination with global teams, leads the regional introduction and commercialization of new products and solutions, coordinating launch plans, customer targeting, sales readiness and performance tracking.
  • Provide regional market and customer input to global Product Management, Pricing, R&D and Marketing to guide portfolio choices, lifecycle actions and business cases.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify actions to improve adoption, differentiation, profitability and customer value.
  • Demand generation, content and thought leadership
  • Define campaign and content priorities for Pharma and brief the Campaign Manager, who translates priorities into campaigns, content and market activation.
  • Provide business ownership and oversight for selected customer-facing events, scientific conferences, webinars and thought-leadership programs, ensuring strong commercial objectives and follow-through.
  • Partner with the Campaign Manager on multichannel demand generation while maintaining primary focus on strategic go-to-market and commercial execution.

  • Strong business acumen, financial understanding and ability to balance growth, retention, volume and profitability
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across global, regional and cross‑functional teams
  • Customer‑facing confidence, consultative communication and strong presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset with discipline in KPI definition, performance tracking and action follow‑through
  • Fluent business English; additional European languages are an advantage

The full‑time annual base salary range for this position base in France is expected to range between 76’500 EUR and 107’100 EUR. Initial salary placement within this range will be determined based on role related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution.
