CELESTAL is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and construction of onshore wind, PV, and BESS projects in France and internationally.

You will perform feasibility studies, electrical studies, coordinate with other engineers, and prepare technical specifications and tender documents, with fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Electrical Engineering and/or Automation/SCADA.
• Experience: 5–10 years with HVAC or MV systems in renewable energy contexts or engineering consultancies.
• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of electrical equipment in renewable plants (wind, PV, BESS, HV/MV).
• Electrical Studies: Experience sizing/designing high/medium/low voltage networks and architectures.
• Software: Experience with DIgSILENT PowerFactory, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Codes & Standards: Knowledge of NF C 13-200 and NF C 15-100 in France and abroad.
• Languages: Fluent written and spoken French and English.

Responsabilités

• Carry out electrical engineering studies including load flow and cable/equipment sizing.
• Coordinate and supervise electrical studies by other engineers.
• Provide technical support during pre-construction with technical specs and tender documents.
• Support selection and follow-up of electrical contractors in France and internationally.
• Review and validate supplier designs and optimise technical/economic solutions.
• Ensure quality and compliance of engineering studies.
• Investigate defects and resolve issues during commissioning.
• Document lessons learned to improve engineering methods and project quality.
• Share knowledge with subsidiaries and deliver internal training.

We’re Hiring an Electrical Engineer!

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in renewable energy projects and electrical network studies?

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and construction of onshore wind, photovoltaic, and battery energy storage projects in France and internationally.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform or supervise feasibility studies and preliminary cost estimates for electrical infrastructure and grid connection systems during the development phase.


• Carry out electrical engineering studies, including load flow analysis and the sizing of cables and electrical equipment.


• Coordinate and supervise electrical studies performed by other engineers.


• Provide technical support during the pre-construction phase, including the preparation of technical specifications and tender documents.


• Support the selection and follow-up of electrical contractors and service providers in France and internationally.


• Review and validate supplier designs while identifying technically and economically optimized solutions.


• Ensure the quality and compliance of electrical engineering studies.


• Investigate technical defects and resolve issues identified during the commissioning of electrical installations.


• Document lessons learned to continuously improve engineering methods and project quality.


• Share technical knowledge and experience with the Group’s subsidiaries and deliver internal training within your area of expertise.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Master’s degree or Engineering degree with a specialization in Electrical Engineering and/or Automation and SCADA.

Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience with an electrical equipment manufacturer, installer or integrator working on HV or MV systems, within a renewable energy developer or contractor, or in an engineering consultancy.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical equipment used in renewable energy plants, including wind turbines, PV and BESS inverters, HV and MV substations, circuit breakers, disconnectors, transformers, and associated components.

Electrical Studies: Experience in the sizing and design of high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage AC/DC networks and their electrical architectures.

Software: Knowledge of electrical network simulation software, particularly DIgSILENT PowerFactory, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Codes & Standards: Knowledge and practical application of French and international electrical standards, including NF C 13-200 and NF C 15-100.

Languages: Fluent written and spoken French and English.
