Job summary

DHL is seeking a Class 2 Driver for its night operation in Normanton. You will deliver car parts across Yorkshire and the North East, with a focus on safe driving and regulatory compliance. Training and support are provided to help you thrive in a key supply chain role.

Applicants with a valid HGV Class 2 Licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph Card are welcome. Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply for this permanent, full-time position.

• Night shift experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to dealerships across Yorkshire and the North East.
• Manual handling of rolling cages; loading and unloading.
• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive and Highway Code.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 48 hours, Night Shift Monday - Friday 23:00 start
Location: Normanton - WF6 1TF

We're seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our night operation in Normanton, delivering car parts across Yorkshire and the North East.

With quieter roads, consistent routes, and the support of an experienced transport team, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a critical supply chain operation.

Whether you're newly qualified or bring years of driving experience, we'll provide the support you need to thrive in the role.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Multi drop delivery of car parts to dealerships across Yorkshire and the North East
• Manual handling of rolling cages and use of manual pallet truck, as well as loading and unloading
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience of multi drop delivery is desirable but not essential
• Ideally will have experience working in a night shift role previously
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply
