Job summary

One Of Us in Paris is seeking talented Mid and Senior DMP Artists to join our growing team.

You will create photo-real 2D DMPs for high-end film and TV, integrating matte paintings with 2D/3D environments using camera mapping (or projection mapping) in Maya and/or Nuke. Collaboration with the VFX Supervisor and 2D Supervisor ensures the best creative and technical approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing photo-real environments.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the natural world (geology, geography, and meteorology) and architecture (design and engineering).
• Experience modelling, texturing, layout, lighting and digital matte painting for high-end broadcast or feature film projects.
• Thorough understanding of 3D and 2.5D VFX processes and production pipelines.
• Good knowledge in CG environments (from Modelling to Lighting).
• Proven experience in Nuke regarding projection and basic Compositing.
• Experience in CG Environment in Houdini is a good bonus.

Responsibilities

• Keep up with technological advancements and innovations.
• Work with knowledge of colour space principles.

We're looking for talented Mid and Senior DMP Artist to join our growing team in Paris. As a DMP Artist, you will be instrumental in creating stunning visual elements. You will work closely with our 2D Supervisors, Leads and artists, and other members of One Of Us to ensure the highest quality balancing the technical and creative elements of each shot you work on.

• Integrating matte paintings into 2D or 3D environments using camera mapping (or projection mapping) techniques, primarily using software like Maya and/or Nuke.
• Collaborating with the Visual Effects Supervisor and the 2D Supervisor to evaluate the creative and technical approach to assigned shots.
• Integrating 2D, 3D and live action elements to high-end visual effects film standard.
• To take responsibility for workload, time management, notes/feedback, and any necessary actions required by Supervisors.

Hours and location

Our core hours are 09:30am to 18:30pm, or 10:00am to 19:00 pm Monday to Friday. We have a great office in the 20th arrondissement, where our artists are based.
